AIDS
AIDS is the advanced disease than was the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). What this virus causes is to stop killing defenseless body cells that are responsible for defending the body against viruses and diseases that attack. The disease is incurable. There is evidence that daily contact with patients who suffer from the disease not spread HIV. HIV is spread through unprotected sex (exchange of semen, vaginal secretions), blood transfusion, from mother to child. The difference between HIV and AIDS is that AIDS occurs when the virus has already attacked the body completely and is in an advanced stage. A person can be infected with the HIV virus without developing AIDS. From the moment the virus enters the body and presents the symptoms can take several years.
When a HIV carrier reaches the stage where it has already developed AIDS as such, began a period in which they attack one type of diseases called "opportunistic", the same which develop defenses have declined markedly, also in AIDS patient acquired lung disorders and skin complaints to cancer, other disorders may damage the digestive and nervous system.
The virus HIV is the not advanced virus of AIDS. Many people who carry this disease are unaware they have it. AIDS is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, the virus attacks the immune system of infected people, making the body defenseless against diseases and viruses that atacan.El body of a person with this evil can not defend themselves and fight the evils that enter the body. AIDS is spread through bodily fluids of infected people and through the blood.
The treatment that is followed for the VHI may prolong the time before getting AIDS. In 2001 eprsonas 2.7 million were newly infected and 2 million died the same year to the disease.
More than a decade ago, Carlos Mora - survivor of AIDS in Guayaquil - was infected with the deadly disease in a hospital from the main port.
