CANDIDIASIS

Candidiasis is a common form of vaginitis caused by a fungus infection called Candida. Candida is perfectly situated in the body and there is no way to prevent or eliminate it. This infection must be controlled so as not to proliferate. The bacteria produce symptoms that are constant vaginal itching and sores of the intimate areas. Suddenly, there is thick white discharge and lumpy. A physical exam will show a swelling of the vaginal walls.

Candidiasis is not considered a sexually transmitted disease, but about 15% of men have itching in the penis after having had sex with the infected partner. The treatments for this disease are the creams, suppositories, among others fungi that kill both men as in women.
The symptoms of genital candidiasis are similar to those of other genital infections. To perform the diagnosis usually requires a laboratory examination of the affected area. This infection is one of the most difficult to cure.

AIDS has more than 10 painful symptoms; candidiasis has only one. There are two types of Candidiasis:

1. Candidal intertrigo: The common ore, red skin, intense itching and burning.

2 .- Candidasa Onychomycosis: Painful swelling with discharge starts when candidiasis is altered the balance of tiny organisms in the vagina.

Is necessary to consult an specialist if you notice a change in normal vaginal secretion or in the case of men if you have unusual symptoms when urinating to avoid irreversible consequences.
